The Castle Green in Pasadena
This is a unique place. Originally a hotel annex - main building, now demolished, was across the street by the old Pasadena railroad station and was accessed by the covered bridge seen here. The Castle Green is the last remaining example of the grand hotels from the late 1800's when industry barons wintered here. The curious mixture of Spanish and Moorish architecture gives the building a somewhat haunted and timeless, nostalgic look and feel.
Now converted to condominiums, the Castle Greene remains a desirable place to live as it close to the bustling Old Town Pasadena.
